I knew Matt Romney was talking smack about people like me behind our backs, but I had no idea it was this vile. I am not a "victim." And I am not dependent on the government for anything other than what any other citizen is dependent on the government for -- police, security, water, roads, etc. The only "entitlements" I expect are the things I have paid into -- yes, I am entitled to those. Vile was what I thought when I heard about his comments too. I watched his late night press conference to explain himself and he looked very shaken up. I don't think he has the political skill to get out of this one.
