There is some minor brouhaha in the tennis community about what Novak Djokovic's new logo "means."
For his part, Nole posted this on Facebook:
I know that some of u were wondering what my new logo represents and I thought it would be fair enough from me and my team to show u :) It took us a while to get where we are now, because we all believed that it had to be special, unique and symbolic - and that's never easy. So, here You go! Hope you like it ;)
Fair enough. But to me, the real issue is WHY does he have a logo to begin with?

The guy's just too far up himself. That a good enough answer?
I find the whole logo thing ridiculous, but he has one because Rafa and Federer have their own logos. He's just keeping up. Although it is somewhat more annoying in Novak's case because so much thought apparently went into it. After all, Rafa just has a bull and Federer just has his initials.
i mean, the logo is one thing & i suppose he is a 'brand' so to speak, but the bigger question is -
Why was he hugging a tree at the end?
Well, I love it! Of course I'm a bit biased because I'm such a huge Nole fan, but whatever.
Oh like Rafa and Roger doesn't have a logo? Don't tell me that the RF and the bull logo didn't undergo a lot of revisions -- meaning thought -- around it. I actually like it better than the plain ND he was using earlier.
And too far up himself? I'll agree when he wears a track suit with gold piping, trumpeting how many Majors he won.
