My weirdo 30is coworker -- who is of Indian descent, lived in London till she was 7 and then grew up in Mississippi -- has a memory that rivals mine when it comes to useless information. As discussed a scrapped Belinda Carlisle reality show set in India -- "Belindia" -- yesterday, she asked me if I ever had the Belinda L.A. Gear shoes. (BTW: Belinda was sued for breach of contract over this endorsement for taking the money and then refusing to do much work! I remember the Bugle Boy jeans commercials vividly, but this one barely rings a bell!
