Saw almost none of the Indian Wells event on television this year, but am curious what the results might mean. That Roger Federer has morphed into a Caroline Wozniacki is rather peculiar -- didn't Sampras stop winning the top tier events near the end in his run-up to one last Slam? I don't worry too much about Novak Djokovic losing to John Isner. Isner is a freak of nature, so I'm not surprised when he occasionally puts a match together this well.

Rafael Nadal's doubles victory had me thinking it could be his Roger-at-the-Olympics moment, where a doubles win turned his singles around. (God, I hope I'm wrong.)

What made me happiest, even if my interest in ever-waning -- is that Australian Open champ Victoria Azarenka has maintained her winning ways. After watching the collapse of Anastasia Myskina, Ana Ivanovic, Li Na and Samantha Stosur after winning their first major, it's such a treat to see that someone has actually gained confidence from winning instead of becoming paralyzed with fear. Now if only she would pipe down on court.

Anastasia Myskina, LOL. I'll never forget during that French Open final, Tracy Austin essentially said, "Many people thought Anastasia would be the next big Russian tennis star, but the way she plays, it's clearly not going to happen."
I was at IW this weekend and saw Roger play twice, he game was amazing in person. Definitely the one to beat right now, Nole and Rafa were not as good.
Isner is a hottie...
