It turns out the 85-year-old woman whose rave review of the Olive Garden has become a national sensation -- she's doing press in New York as I write this -- is the mother of a Wall Street Journal reporter. James R. Hagerty wrote about Mom's sudden burst into the spotlight in today's paper.

Her phone line was tied up, so I emailed her: "You've gone viral!"
She replied: "Could you tell me what viral means?"

Well, since she's 85, free breadsticks for life is a fairly safe bet for the OG.
