The Boston Globe reports that Jason Varitek, a two-time World Series champion and the captain of the Red Sox from 2005-11, will announce his retirement today in Fort Myers, Fla. While it's blasphemy to root for the Red Sox here in New York, I think we can all agree that Varitek is one of the game's hunkiest players and has the hottest ass -- catchers always do -- even if the jury is still out as to whether or not this is really his heinie HERE.

Trust me, hot ass runs in the family. His younger brother Jared was one of my frat brothers in college and he was always naked.
