Hot on the heels of discovering a bunch of new Blondie songs a couple weeks ago, I came across three more interesting songs today -- one Blondie outtake from "Panic of Girls," one Debbie Harry solo song from right when Blondie was reforming, and one Wind in the Willows track with Debbie singing lead. Enjoy!
Former Blondie guitarist Paul Carbonara leaked this sweet outtake he wrote with Debbie for the band's "Panic of Girls" LP last year.
This one was recorded for the soundtrack of "Three Businessmen" (1998), directed by Alex Cox of "Repo Man" and "Sid and Nancy" fame.
And this one is from Debbie's Wind in the Willows days. I bought the LP back in the '80s, but never had the patience to listen to it much 'cause Debbie wasn't the lead singer. This track, it turns out, is the 23-year-old Deb on lead and is quite sweet, although it's the old photos that steal the show! (Capitol Records) 1968
