It's hard to believe it's been seven years since Saint Etienne released an album of all-new material -- 2005's Beach Boyish "Tales From the Turnpike House" -- given the number of compilations, reissues and one-offs that have trickled out in the ensuing time. (I'm a HUGE fan and my wallet says they've been very busy!) But a new single, "Tonight," is already available for download (free) HERE, and Pitchfork reports a new LP is imminent. Now how about a tour, guys?

I woke up to this awesome news this morning and have listened to the single about 20 times (cos my iTunes was set on replay...) I can't wait for a new album! Has it really been 7 years?
