The trailer for "Jeff, Who Lives at Home," a new indie comedy starring Jason Segel and Ed Helms as brothers -- one (Segal) a 30-year-old still living in his parents' basement (Mom is played by Susan Sarandon), the other (Helms) struggling with a failed marriage -- looks pretty promising. I just wish directors would agree to drop the whole air-bag-deploying ploy -- it's the male equivalent of the "give me the epidural!" routine in childbirth scenes, and smacks of being written by a lazy guy still living in his parents' basement.
