With the first major of the year just days away, the world of tennis is eagerly waiting to see if Roger Federer's late-year surge will translate into success in 2012. My expectations are rather tempered, but I definitely think if he's going to come up big somewhere, it's definitely Down Under. Tell me what you think: Does Roger have another Grand Slam title in him?

I do think he'll win another grand slam title (much as I'm not a huge fan). Unless Ivan Lendl really does make a difference to Andy Murray's game, unless Djokovic heals and Nadal can find some new weaponry, Federer's greatest threats are Tsonga, (sometimes) Monfils, and an occasional Spaniard. No one else seems to be playing that well. Yet.
He's still a pleasure to watch - it's tennis poetry.
I think he has another title ot two in reserve.
I'm worried about the back strain that caused him to pull out of that tournament two or three weeks ago - He NEVER pulls out during a tournament. If he's recovered, he'll go far but I still think 2012 will be the year that new champions are crowned at the majors.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least 1 more major title for Roger. He's one beautiful man.
If anyone's in need of a pick me up, google "federer nadal laughing" and you'll be sure to enjoy the video.
If he makes it to a final, he's got a shot. Big IF. I personally think his days of winning Slams are over.
@LHH - Really? Djokovic beats Federer regularly now. So does Nadal. Murray can beat him as well. They are all very real threats to him and I don't see that changing anytime soon. In fact, I would bet money that Federer will not beat either Djokovic or Nadal in 2012.
