Mad About 'Mad Men'

Elisabeth Moss, Jon Hamm, and creator/producer Matthew Weiner

Further proof that the cause of homosexuality is a very complex, I was born without the "awards show" gene, so didn't watch last night's Emmy awards. I do appreciate great television, however, so was pleased to read that "Mad Men" won its fourth consecutive award for Outstanding Drama Series -- and even more thrilled that Kyle Chandler won Outstanding Lead Actor for his Coach Taylor role on the now-defunct "Friday Night Lights." If you were gonna go to one of the after parties, AMC's shindig at Mr. C Beverly Hills looks like it might have been the one (apparently 2011 California law trumps award-winning 1960s-era drama as I see no cigarettes but still plenty of cleavage.

Christina Hendricks, who I also took for a "Drive" over the weekend.

Sarah Silverman, Talia "I'm so hot I was married to George Clooney and now Roger Sterling" Balsam, and John Slattery

Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm, and Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad")

Aaron Staton, Connie Fletcher, costume designer Janie Bryant and Peter Bryant

How goofy am I. When Kyle Chandler won all I could think was "Kenneth in the 212" is dancing and screaming with delight!

guess I am odd man out - I watch Mad Men, love it visually but I find it as exciting as watching paint dry and find Mr. Hamm handsome but so wooden. John.
