Andy Warhol Gave Good Hed

The National Gallery of Art, where I worked briefly in the early '90s, has a fun new Andy Warhol exhibition running through Jan. 2, focusing on the Pop artist's work with tabloid newspapers. The gallery says "Warhol: Headlines" will define and bring together works that the artist based largely on headlines from the tabloid news. Warhol had a lifelong obsession with the sensational side of contemporary news media, and examples of his source materials for the works of art will be presented for comparison, revealing Warhol's role as both editor and author. Am hoping to make it to this one -- and would love to hear from anyone who's been!
