Not-So-Amazing Spider-Man

As much as I don't get the appeal of mouth-breathing twirp Andrew Garfield, what I get less is why Hollywood keeps making the same movie over and over again. This time, they didn't even wait for dust to gather on the latest incarnation.

couldn't agree more and that little fragile twink garfield. I know spidey is supposed to be slight but come on...

he looks like he's 12. That certaily is NOT my superhero fantasy!

I'll bite... That dorky, quasi-hipster lanky kinda guy is exactly my type. I've been in love with Andrew Garfield since 'Boy A'. The guy rocked it last year in 'The Social Network' and 'Never Let Me Go'.

I can't imagine a more aggressively unattractive actor in a less necessary reboot.

K,
I am with you on this. So many reboots of reboots, it's cinematic dejavu.
(Hulk, Superman, XMen, and now Spiderman.)
The last Spiderman movie was only 2007 and TMaguire really embodied that character. It's too soon.

The costume in the Tobey movies was PERFECT. The new one looks ugly. That and "rebooting" a series that is still fresh in our minds, and this looks like a FAIL.

Sad part is all they need is one big opening weekend and good international tickets and they will continue to make them.
