Leaving Tulsa for Newark now. United moved my departure up -- but not my connection -- so even if everything goes according to plan, I will not be landing at Newark until 11 p.m. It's 12:17 p.m. now (huh?).

This comment might be seen as a vote of no confidence, but you do know that 11:17pm and 12pm are over 12 hours apart, right?
Also, between Tulsa and Newark, you're going to lose an hour with the time-zones.
Granted, the flight from Tulsa to Newark should only be a bit under 4 hours in duration without stops, but knowing the details of your flights it's hard to tell if if there's actually anything amiss here.
Still. That is a lot of time in airports. Hang in there and find the bar!

Anonymous: Exactly! I'm still trying to figure out why it's taking me as long to fly from Tulsa to New York as it would driving!
