Lady Gaga Named CFDA Style Icon of the Year

Last night's Council of Fashion Designers of America awards attracted a predictably well-heeled crowd last night as A-listers from film, television, fashion and media came out to see Lady Gaga named the year's top style icon. ("As much as this award means to me personally ... I just want you to know how much this means to young Americans," Gaga said. Uh yeah, whatever, Stefani.)

I've got lots of photos to prove it -- but it was host Anderson Cooper's reported "montage of his early days as a preteen model" that I'd really like to get my hands on!

Gaga for the Lady

Matt Bomer, the ultimate man of style

Nate Berkus, Brooke Cundiff and designer Thom Browne

Model Jeisa Chiminazzo and Lorenzo Martone

Linda Gray in red

Sofia Coppola and Marc Jacobs

Robert Geller (menswear), Eddie Borgo (accessories) and Prabal Gurung (womenswear)

Designer Michael Bastian

Gerard Butler

Top womenswear honorees Jack McCollough (l) and Lazaro Hernandez with Naomi Watts

Designer Simon Spurr and Brad Goreski

Kathy Griffin (stalking Anderson, no doubt)

Matt Bomer is just plain gorgeous and very stylish.

Lady Gaga a style icon? No, my dears, Jackie O or Coco Chanel maybe but not Gaga - who the hell can emulate that look?!?!?!

Thom Browne -- f***ing up the look of a tuxedo is just not good. No one should mess with a tuxedo!!

Mr. Bomer is the best dressed guy in show business. Wish other actors were as classy. Can we please clone him so ew all might enjoy a personal copy?

Brooke Cundiff looks like she's wrapped in tin foil. Thom Browne looks like Pee Wee Herman.
