Spoke to my mom this week, who informed me that she'd attended her second concert in about 40 years recently -- Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks. (The last was Neil Diamond back when we lived in Detroit.) I'd be lying if I didn't say I was totally jealous. Rod's catalog is deceptively rich, but some alone time with Stevie sounds heavenly, like putting on a favorite old shawl. LOVE her! Stevie Nicks' new "In Your Dreams" cd is released this Tuesday, and is already being called "the finest solo album of her four-decade career."
