But I had no idea the network was so aware of its metrosexual leanings -- "the parade of handmade suits, wide-knotted ties and multi-carat bling ... from Armani sweaters to high-collared shirts."“It’s sort of like ‘Dieux du Stade’ in France,” said Tom Shales, coauthor of "Those Guys Have All the Fun: Inside the World of ESPN," referring to a French rugby team’s collections of revealing photos, “where athletes don’t find it feminizing to pose almost naked in pictures. The athletes legitimize male preening. It’s so masculine it’s almost feminine.”

uhhhhhh .... you're welcome to make whatever points you want - but I was asked about "The Body Issue" of ESPN: The Magazine, so the comparison of "Dieux de Stade" (du Stade"?) was to that, nothing to do with the boys in the blazers....
