Anderson Cooper's Tight Situation

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report both reported on the attack on Anderson Cooper in Cairo -- making repeated references to his beefed-up bod.

But Stephen Colbert noted that as bad as things are over there, it could be worse. How can he be sure? "I know because Anderson is still wearing a shirt with a collar. Until Anderson puts on the tight black Donna Karan, legally the U.N. doesn't send in peacekeepers," he explained. (You may recall Anderson's super-tight T declared an INTERNATIONAL DISASTER ZONE last year in Port-au-Prince.)

Meanwhile, Jon Stewart was particularly upset that AC's head had been physically assaulted: "Now you've gone too far. Hands OFF Anderson Cooper! There is not to be a silvery wisp out of place on that man's glorious head!" Stewart said. "There is only one person ... who is allowed to physically assault Anderson Cooper -- and even she is only granted the honor once a year." (Find out who in the clip below.)

Anderson has become one of the media's more fascinating "open secrets," at least in my opinion. Everyone and their grandmama's hairstylist knows, but no one of any importance seems willing to tackle it. If he truly were as objective and dedicated to the profession as he claims, you'd think he wouldn't mind. Maybe I'm just young.

(As an aside, I'd like to say that I'm a new reader, and fledgling blogger, who loves the blog! And to say that your demographic does, in fact, extend to seventeen-year-old gay kids in Oklahoma.)
