Harry Reid
says the Senate has what it needs to end "don't ask, don't tell" and he'll put it to a vote on Saturday. I almost don't want to think about it -- everything that could possibly go wrong feels like it has of late. But I can't think of a better gift to this country -- that needs something good to happen, now more than it has in a long time -- than expanding human rights and fostering greater national pride and dignity for all Americans. It's gotten to the point that President Obama's most vocal critics are his former supporters. I don't know about other people, but getting this done would go a long way toward restoring my faith in him, even if it made his handling of health-care reform look "hands-on."

rest assured that if DADT finally is repealed, it will have absolutely nothing to do the our pathetic Incredibly Shrinking President.
He is completely useless.
We will be well rid of him in 2012.
