In May I blogged about Live Out Loud, a wonderful organization that facilitates LGBT adults to return to their high schools to share stories, insight and advice with the next generation -- a real-life "It Gets Better" project. At an event sponsored by The New York Times, Dustin Lance Black gave a moving speech about his experience returning to his small-town school, in North Salinas, California, but the short film was not available for me to post at the time. I ran into the group's founder and executive director, Leo Preziosi, Jr., last night, who informed me that the clip is now up and running. Please take a minute to watch it, above. You'll be glad you did.

Dear Sister Mary Chlamydia:
I would like to return to Sacred Heart Catholic High School to talk to your students and faculty about how much better my life is now that I'm not getting beat up, harassed, spit on and abused by every god-damned "Christian" in town. My talk will touch upon issues like partying all night on ecstasy, fellatio, and the joy of wearing clothes that aren't a polyester Catholic school uniform. I'm available on Good Friday -- does that work for you?
Yours in Christ,
Bruce Fagan
