Cher Takes Manhattan

Cher -- who I adore -- greets fans earlier today outside the Ed Sullivan Theater, where she will sit down with onetime nemesis David "I thought you were an asshole" Letterman to discuss her new film, "Burlesque." I tweeted about this earlier this week, but is there any chance in hell this movie is NOT going to be the biggest flop of 2010? Christina's career is all but over, and Cher hasn't been a theatrical force to be reckoned with in 20 years, or a musical one in 10. I'm almost in shock they way everyone's talking about the film and promoting it as if it could possibly not be a bomb.

I'd hardly say Christina's career is all but over. She's been in the business since she was a kid, so she's built up some survival skills. Also, she has the voice. People said the same about Mariah too remember?
