Hill Yeah!

Wow, this is really monumental. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's "It Gets Better" message to LGBT youths sure is powerful -- and definitely resonated with me more than the ones from wannabe pop stars and Z-list celebrities. I like the fact that she doesn't try to pretend that it is safe out there for all LGBT Americans, yet offers specific examples about how progress has been made, for all minority groups. Let's hope her matronly words of wisdom -- I love how she still hasn't lost her Illinois accent after all these years! -- have a positive impact on the kids in need out there, too.

I respect and admire you, President Obama. But no matter what the Clinton bashers have to say, I still wish Hillary had been our 44th commander in chief.

She's great but she's a politician and very well would have let you down as Obama has. She'd still make a great president, hopefully in '16...I'd hate another Dem vs. Dem war.

Also, Hillary has never changed her position on marriage equality, so as long as someone believes gays shouldn't marry, I still think an "It Gets Better" from a Z-list who's actually gay themselves is more honest.

(I'm sure she's pro-gay marriage. If she ever admits it as Bill has, it will be a sure sign she won't run again, which would suck because she wouldn't be THAT old in '16!)

All that said, I wouldn't be surprised if we elected a ridiculous Ross Perot "Independent" type in '12. It just feels like crazy time.
