'The Rules of Action' by Landon J. Napoleon

Was happy to see The Arizona Republic gave my pal Landon J. Napoleon -- who I went to J-school with in the late '80s -- a nice write-up over the weekend about his new legal thriller, "The Rules of Action." The book is based on the true story of one Phoenix lawyer's fight against corporate greed and mistreatment of the elderly in nursing homes in the 1970s and is getting great reviews so far. Landon, whose acclaimed debut novel, "ZigZag," was made into a film starring Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo, will be doing a Q&A and signing copies of his latest today at Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe, near the campus of Arizona State University. (Someone should ask him about the sperm-bank story he wrote with me back in the day that ran in the State Press!)
