Stumbled upon this outside the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (yet missed the Pop-Tarts World). It appears "The Pee-wee Herman Show" -- which a friend in L.A. said was a hoot -- is officially coming to Broadway. I LOVED his first movie but never saw the sequel of his television show, so I"m not if this one if for me or not. But it's nice to see that after years of trumped up charges and old-fashioned blacklisting, Paul Reubens is working again..Ticket info HERE.Thursday, August 12, 2010

GO!!! It's a wonderful cross-breed of his old live act (the old HBO special perviness is still intact) with most of the Playhouse cast (Sadly, Phil Hartman (Captain Karl) is gone & Lawrence Fishburn ) Cowboy Curtis) was unable to participate, but the original Jomby & Miss Yvonne are both there)!!! The set design & puppetry are top-notch. Still very bitter I was unable to see it in LA myself.
