Sour Note for Piano

The Daily News is reporting that the American Institute of Architects new Guide to New York City has named Renzo Piano's New York Times tower at 620 Eighth Avenue the ugliest building in the city. I don't know a lot about architecture, the paper's architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff famously called the building "a paradise by comparison" to the old Times building when it first opened -- but I for one remained unconvinced till the bitter end. See all 10 of the ugliest buildings HERE.
