On the Rag, Vol. 91

A weekly look at what's making news in New York and Los Angeles' free gay magazines:

Next has "Real World" hunk Scott Herman looking very professional for its "best gay doctors and lawyers" issue. I guess it was the "gay" part that made them think they needed to pluck and style himself within an inch of his penis, though. (Is it just me, or does he look like a drag queen who just pulled her wig off at the end of her finale?)

Scott looks a little better HERE.

Meanwhile, Frontiers has Adam Lambert on the cover of its Pride 2010 issue.

What the heck has happened to Scott! He looks SO thin compared to his hunky Men's Health spread circa 2008. And why is HE on the cover of a GAY rag? I'm just saying... Or is HE trying to say something?!

Frank -- I think you've nailed it. He's been brainwashed into having zero percent body fat (for his fitness modeling career), and it's having a negative effect on his face. Again, not being a jerk. The guy is gorgeous. But it's a classic case of going too far in the name of "perfection."

There is nothing wrong with Scott...he is Flawless. If you find Flaws in him you are either projecting (seeing in him what you dislike about yourself), being too damned picky, or just trying to take him down a peg (perhaps to justify your own, self perceived, 'less than perfect' state or to make yourself feel better). I don't believe in 'Perfection' and I am not implying that anyone is 'less than perfect'...but Scott is so close to perfect that it's eerie(lol)! :3
