It's always fun for a guy from the Tracy Austin era like me to to see that people in the U.S. still come out for tennis events, like the U.S. Open ticket launch earlier today in Times Square. While it would have been nice to have another McEnroe present, Patrick McEnroe is always a good sport -- and probably didn't mind having a chance to shill his new memoir, "Hardcourt Confidential: Tales from Twenty Years in the Pro Tennis Trenches," which is coming out tomorrow.
