Cher Goes 'Hollywood'

As fabulous as it is to live near the beach, who could blame Cher for saying goodbye to her gorgeous Malibu mansion and moving into the Hollywood Hills? When my friend James and I hightailed it out of the O.C. for the City of Angels, we jumped at a Santa Monica-adjacent pad on South Bundy Drive, only to realize we were spending most of our time driving from the West Side to West Hollywood -- and plotting our escape. (Have you ever tried to drive from Doheny to the Pacific Coast Highway in rush hour?) Cher seems to have followed our lead, with this incredible two-story, 4,000-square-foot "apartment" high above city, which is detailed in the July issue of Architectural Digest.
