Heat Stroke

Tom Cruise in "Risky Business" was certainly one of my biggest high school crushes. (He looked hotter than he has in years on Oprah the other day, as does he here at the celebration for Jerry Bruckheimer at the "Prince of Persia" premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.) That he's old enough to be Jake Gyllenhaal's father? I'm still deciding how I feel about that.

Sorry to say this but... does Jake looks a bit uncomfortable in this pic with Tom?

Though I lusted after Cruise in "Risky Business," too, as well as "Top Gun," I find him a rather sad figure today. Jake is top dog now, and Tom Cruise appears desperate to hold onto a faded glory. Too bad he doesn't go after roles that George Clooney plays, i.e. a mature, 'hot' man.

Wow. Now I'm flashing on Tom giving Jake a pants-down over-the-knee spanking (but then I used to when I thought of Clooney and Wahlberg or Affleck and Damon)
