Never Mind the Bullock

How's this for a celebrity endorsement? (Maybe the Tea Party could get T-Mobile to be their corporate sponsor.) BTW: No sympathy for Sandra Bullock whatsoever. Clearly you knew what you were signing up for when you got involved with Jesse James. You can't marry someone who impregnates imprisoned porn stars and then act surprised when they are of questionable moral character. And to the media: This whole "best of times, worst of times" storyline is ridiculous: she didn't deserve that Oscar in the first place, but she clearly got what she deserves for marrying this asshole, who carried on like this while involved with her.

Only when America evolves to the point that we've decriminalized extra-marital sex will we be a civilized country. Until then, expect more stupid, boring headlines about boring people who do boring things.

Agreed, 100 percent! I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Johnny, let's get married. I promise I won't slow you down.

Don't be silly, Sandy totally deserved the Oscar. She made history by starring in a movie that grossed over 200mil, no other female has ever done that. Most importantly- she's superb in it.

So glad you're not a member of the academy.

As for Jesse, you're 100% correct.

Oh, Kenneth - finally, something on which we can completely agree!

dee4hill - you hit the nail on the head! The fact that Sandy brought in so much $$ in '09 (The Proposal, The Blindside) is exactly the reason she was given the Oscar. She was OK in it (Julia Roberts in "Erin Brockovich," anyone?), and maybe a nomination was fair enough, but she definitely shouldn't have won.
