It's a Long Way to Tipperary

Had a very late night at my farewell gathering with my New York Times coworkers, so please forgive my slow pace on the blog today. I have confidence in my ability to work again (in fact, I already have a bunch of stuff lined up). But it's the dismantling of my surrogate family that hurts so much -- and I'm really going to miss these guys. (And yes, we did a big "Mary Tyler Moore" group hug at the end.) I only thought to take pictures after a lot of people left, but I'll cherish them just the same. It was the perfect ending to a life-changing experience. (And Ray even showed up!!!!)
