After trying to eat dinner at much-recommended
Westville in the West Village last week, I can vouch for
this story about the city's tiniest restaurants. The place is about 350 square feet and has nine two-top tables AND 10 employees (it's a nightmare). There were about eight people on the waiting list before us and when we realized we'd been there 45 minutes and not a single person had come out(!), we knew it was time to move on. Good news, though: a new and much larger location is coming soon to Chelsea!

WOW! That is scary. In California at lest, the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) implemented laws would have fined them (the restaurant) a ton of money for just that picture alone. You basically have to have 3 feet of space all around, so people can move forward and back etc. between anything in a store/restaurant. Is NYC an ADA-free zone?
If Shopsin's isn't on that list, it's a runner-up. And we're going next time I'm in town!
