The Discount Wilson

After making the near-classic comedy "Old School" back in 2003, everything's gone horribly wrong for Luke Wilson. First the once-dashing leading man wound up in a "Jessica Simpson vehicle" (ouch), then he gains a few pounds and becomes almost unrecognizable.

Lately, he's been reduced to doing cell-phone commercials, and recently I noticed they're giving away his flop movies at Barnes and Noble (this one was 50 percent off -- plus an additional 20 percent off at the register). Get yourself together, Luke. Hollywood already has one Val Kilmer.

Henry Poole is actually a very charming film. Blind items have had Luke with a serious liquor problem for years. Shame it's ruined not only his career but what was once a smoking hot body.

That golf photo is not pretty! Yes I've seen his cell phone ads but a lot of "stars" are doing main stream commercials these days, so I just figured he was yet another one hawking wares for pay. What broke my heart was when I saw Sally Field in a Boniva commercial, ya know the drug for...I dunno like bones or something for women. I was like wow, really? ;) peace

I work in the agency which represents Luke Wilson. If he's "reduced" to doing cell phone commercials as you so haughtily stated, I'm sure YOU, too, would love such a "reduction in status," as his deal is upwards of $800K. Please tell us faithful readers how close to THAT figure YOUR soon-to-be-nonexistent editing job nets you? --- Smooches.

OMG, I didn't think he could get any fatter! I keep saying: Why are men in Hollywood allowed to physically fade, but the minute a "hot" woman gains an ounce, we never see her again?

Good one, Adam: violating your client's privacy AND making a laughable comparison between A-list Hollywood stars and copy editors. I hope they're paying you what you're worth!
