After losing the first set 6-0 and looking like he would get broken early in the next, Nicolas Kiefer just took the second set off Rafael Nadal in spectacular fashion. On to set 3!!!!
Me, looking ever so superimposed. UPDATE: OK, so Nadal wound up being too much for Nic, beating the German veteran in four exciting sets. But it was a glorious night and although my not-cheap tickets weren't quite as not-crappy as I was hoping for, we were able to avoid replicating Adrian Tomine's recent New Yorker cover and actually watch watch the match rather than viewing it on the JumboTron, and that alone made it worth the expense. Another great outing at New York's finest sporting event.
