Just saw Jason Bateman on Seventh Avenue in Chelsea. VERY tall and slightly more adult looking in person -- attire aside. (Saw "Extract" over the weekend, review TK.) Everyone always says celebrities love New York because they can blend in -- my ultimate tourist ways aside -- but I can assure you EVERYONE was pointing, smiling and staring when the child-star-made-good walked by. If you're wondering what it would take for me to leave one of these poor people alone then you have you answer: he was on the phone. Same thing happened by St. Vincent's hospital with Jon Stewart the other day, and believe me when I say I wanted a picture with him too!
