Will You Marry Me, Bill?

Their influence may have slipped a notch or two, but I will always love the Clintons. (Hey, I'M the one who was 24 during that election, kids!) Reading about their efforts to secure the release of journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee only reaffirmed my respect and admiration:

The riveting tableau of a former president, jetting into a diplomatic crisis while his wife was embarking on a tour of Africa in her role as the nation’s chief diplomat, underscored the unique and enduring role of the Clintons, even in the Obama era.

OK, so I'll bet Bill probably tried to get those gals to "thank" him properly on the LONG plane ride home. But I admire Billary nonetheless.
