As regular readers know, a shirtless photo of Mets slugger David Wright is kind of the Holy Grail of the (212). So when a kind reader wrote to say he thought he had one, I was most appreciative. But upon
intense inspection, my feeling was close but no cigar. For one thing, I don't see Wright as being the manscaping type. And the hunky third baseman is a "big boy," which means I doubt his abs are anything close to popping. The mouth seems a little off, too. I'm notorious bad at this kind of thing, so I'm turning it over to you guys. Please VOTE below -- and I'd love to hear thoughts in the comments section, too. Nope. Not Mr. Wright. But he's still very nice to look at whoever he is. :)
I think it is David Wright, look at the minutia, the ear, specifically the ear lobe, very distinct and the same as on several of your other samples of D. W. pictures. Also the teeth, the front teeth are the same as in other pictures. At first I was with you on the close but no cigar, until I blow the picture up and looked at the details. Obviously I have way to much time on my hands.

Nope, it isn't Mr. Wright.
The facial structure and the body shape (even under the clothes) are not even alike.
His brow line is different from the guy in the beach pic, as is his smile and the skin tone.
Close, but no cigar...
at least he's nice eye candy.
