Rumors about Guy Ritchie's putting a "gay spin" on his upcoming "Sherlock Holmes" are swirling again, and, of course, Michael Medved -- who sports the best Village People mustache this side of Christopher Street -- can't stay 7.5 inches away from the hottest gay ticket in town. Medved, who uses his most effeminate voice to be
an outspoken critic of gay marriage and joined loony James Dobson in warning society
against the "pro-gay subtext" of the animated movie "Happy Feet" (he didn't even think the penguins were gay, he had a problem with their being
anti-judgmental!!), believes Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law must have been joking when Downey said their characters (Downey as Holmes, Law as Watson) are "two men who happen to be roommates, wrestle a lot and share a bed. It's bad-ass," with Law adding: "Guy wanted to make this about the relationship between Watson and Holmes. They're both mean and complicated."

Said Medved to
PageSix, "There's not a
seething,
bubbling hunger to see straight stars impersonating homosexuals." Keep it in your pants,
Cowboy! And FYI: there's no seething, bubbling hunger to see self-hating homosexuals impersonating conservative commentators and film critics, but society lets you get by.
