It's been a long time since I was jealous of my D.C. friends for getting to attend the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. But with Obama as prez, Wanda Sykes at the mic and stars galore, it's hard not to be more than a little green with envy:
“I think maybe Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker, but he was just strung out on OxyContin and missed his flight,” Sykes said, to cheers and nervous groans. “Too much?” But then she continued anyway. “Rush Limbaugh. ‘I hope the country fails’? Wanda Sykes went over the top in some cases for the Corespondent's Dinner, but not over the top for her regular routine. I loved the fact that the president dodged an awkward moment by drinking water, when you knew he wanted to laugh.
The president was hilarious. I could not top laughing.
I do feel bad for Biden though.
Is it just me or does Tom Cruise look like he's had some work done on his face?
