Lights Out

Just got word that CBS is pulling the plug on the longest-running scripted series in TV history, Guiding Light.

I'm a long-time soap fan (though my fave was always Days of our Lives), and had a chance to visit the GL set back in the late '90s when my good friend, Pamela Sabaugh, played Michelle (Rebecca Budig)'s counselor during her blind-phase.

While I haven't seen an episode of GL since Reva (Kim Zimmer) was a clone, just knowing The Light was on made life seem brighter...
