Page 1 Consider (03/12)

  • Kick Some Ash: I may not "get" Twitter, but I do get that Ashton Kutcher really impressed me yesterday for finally saying what needed to be said. (Southern Voice)

  • Make Sexy Time: On Sunday, Universal Pictures will be offering the first sneak speak of Sasha Baron Cohen's latest outrageous comedy, "Bruno," at the annual festival in Austin, Texas. The film opens in theaters on July 10. (The Envelope)

  • Urban Legend: First Urban Outfitters caves in to protests and yanks "I Support Same-Sex Marriage" T-shirts from its shelves. Now it's selling "embarrassing prank envelopes" lumping the Homosexuals Living in the Closet Society of America in with Sheep Lovers of America. For a store that does such a good job of presenting itself as being hip and youthful, the public should never forget that its owner, Richard Hayne, is a conservative wingnut who has donated thousands of dollars to right-wing causes, including the campaigns of former U.S. senator Rick Santorum. When asked in 2003 about his own views on homosexuality, Hayne told the Philadelphia Weekly, "I have my own opinion, but I am not going to share it." Yeah, right. You've kept your secret so well hidden. (Advocate)

  • Wasilla Family Values: Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston, the father of her illegitimate newborn child, have split, leaving the hockey hunk more time to do meth with his mom. I guess Bill Maher's FREE LEVI campaign worked after all. (Boston)

  • Basic Cable Smackdown: I love Jon Stewart's all-out assault on CNBC. Jim Cramer appears on "The Daily Show" to defend himself tonight. (Variety)

  • Less Than Zero: No one knows which will be the first big city without a large newspaper, but there are candidates across the United States. (NYT)

  • Mothers in Arms: The West Virginia Supreme Court was asked Wednesday to overturn a lower court ruling that removed a child a lesbian couple had reared from birth because the judge wanted the child placed with a married, opposite-sex couple. (365Gay)

  • Pacific Rim Job: Same-sex domestic partners would have all of the rights and benefits that Washington offers married couples under a measure passed by the state Senate. It's progress, but separate does not equal make. (AP)

  • Mother in Chief: In her first weeks in the White House, Michelle Obama has emerged as a champion of healthy food and healthy living. (NYT)

  • At Last:Yossi finally has a legal family -- even though he’s 30 years old and it took nearly 14 years for an Israeli court to approve his adoption by a male same-sex couple. (AP)

Can we keep in mind that the only ones to whom the adjective "illegitimate" should be applied in the Palin household are the adults (you should know better).
