Imitation of Christ

Jesus, complex

Sure, everybody know Perez and Andy are the real gods on the gay blogosphere. Still, when Michael dragged me into St. Francis Xavier in Chelsea this afternoon to BUY a prayer card for a friend's late grandmother (gotta pay for those child-sex settlements somehow), I couldn't help but notice a similarly between me and that cross guy with the beard, chicken legs and impossibly flat stomach. I'm usually right with you on your posts/comments, but I must admit that today's is a pPretty cheesy one, Kenneth. At least Michael's got it right.

I don't know, Kenneth. I've never seen you without shoes on.

I agree with JaY. You went into the church for Michael's friend and to honor the grandmother's life. You didn't have to turn your visit into a tacky post.

Mike: No, trust me. I did!

Very harsh, and with no explanation as to why you feel the need to be spiteful. Would you make the same harsh comments if you went into a temple or a mosque, or is just the Catholic church you have issues with?

Love the blog, dude. Glad I know it and not you, though. Messiah complex much? You might think you look like the standard Western depiction of Jesus, but I wouldn't publish it if I were you. What's it called when people don't exhibit a healthy sense of shame?

Gosh, Kenneth, if you're going to post an artistic interpretation of Jesus, don't choose a tacky one, like that "Jesus As Comic Book Dude." Try something like this (Michelangelo's drawing of the Risen Christ that he sent to a guy he was in love with): http://froggypic.com/image/01/34190ba40c0bd30cba49db8fdc863a43.jpg
