I grabbed a bunch of these new NutraSweet Pink sweeteners yesterday at Au Bon Pain. I wasn't even sure what it was, but I liked the "extra sweet taste" proclamation on the package, so I figured it might be just the thing to spare me from having to put six Splendas in my coffee. (I actually used to use Sweet 'N Low because it's a lot sweeter than the newer ones, but then I realized how gross it tastes.) When I looked Pink up on the Internet I found out NutraSweet, which manufactures aspartame (used in Equal), has now decided to compete with Sweet 'N Low, Equal and Splenda with like-colored sweeteners, comprised of various chemical concoctions, none of which are the same as their competitors'.
NutraSweet Pink combines Dextrose with Maltodextrin, Acesulfame Potassium, Neotame. NutraSweet Gold combines pure cane sugar with acesulfame-K (ACE-K), aspartame and neotame. And NutraSweet Blue combines aspartame and ACE-K. (Mmmm, it all sounds so tasty how does a guy pick just one???)
I put a NutraSweet Pink in a small coffee at work last night and it didn't taste that sweet to me, so I'm not sure if I've solved my problem or not. Anyone else try any of their new entries into the cancer-acceleration market?

You can try Stevia. Here is the Wiki on it:

I used to buy mine at Trader Joe's.
Truvia is the latest natural sweetener, recently developed by Cargill. Not sure if it's available yet or not.

Stick with Sweet n' Low, baby.
Um...what's the problem with plain old sugar?

Truvia = stevia. I taste-tested a Pepsi flavored with it a few months back, and it was quite tasty.
Remember, Tuesday is NutraSweet Green Day!
go SLOW when you try Stevia/Truvia. The first time I tried it, it was in a jar and I went to town, pouring it into my coffee. I swear to God it took five YEARS for me to even consider trying it again. I now cut my PINK (original sweet & low) in half and add two or three DROPS of liquid Stevia.
Stevia is a plant extract, so it passes the "natural" crowd's criteria. (I was introduced to it at a vegan/post-hippie restaurant in Northern California).
