DVRrific: 'Trust Me'

I'm not sure that it's necessary to record anything that airs on TNT (don't they repeat EVERYTHING 10 times a day?), but Alessandra Stanley's review of "Trust Me," a new series set in a Chicago advertising agency, has me genuinely curious to learn more about the, um, product. Eric McCormack was never my favorite part of "Will and Grace," but Tom Cavanagh's short-lived music industry show on CBS, "Love Monkey," was one of my favorite network shows in years. Might I have found my next "fave" show ever? ...

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but hasn't history shown that if it's one of your "faves", it's destined for cancellation?

I had high hopes, but everybody else seems to hate it.

I've worked in advertising for about 15 years and honestly, I found it insulting. Cliched, cliched, cliched.

The shots in the beginning showing sexy Tom in bathrobe, and "getting less sexy" Eric barefoot was the highlight of the episode. Gotta give a couple of weeks before we pan it.

I am an ad student and i really don't like the show that much. Mad Men is so much, so much better.
