MICHAEL CLAYTON and SYRIANA were two of the finest movies made in their respective years. Until those, I would have agreed on the acting front. But I like his outspoken attitude and find him charming, if slightly straight-boy-who-loves-the-Rat-Pack-ish.
But it's always fun to see a crack in his facade...
What about his turn as "George" on FACTS OF LIFE?
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Clooney on THE PEACEMAKER, and he seemed very cool. At least he'd come out and chat, whereas Nicole "Ice Princess" Kidman stayed holed up in her trailer, a perpetual look of fear on her face. (This was back before she had work done.)
I would make a deposit in that coin slot any time!
