Gracious Living

Anyone with working eyes knows I'm not big on shopping for clothes. But when it comes to stuff for the house -- placemats, rugs, towels, dishes, vases, you name it! -- I have been known to get into it a bit. I always loved visiting Gracious Home near Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side (there used to be a Tower Records across the street, so it was a double treat). So imagine my delight when I discovered a new Gracious location right here in Chelsea. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it. Although the lampshade I bought doesn't fit my nightstand lamp, I'm almost kind of happy 'cause it gives me a perfect excuse to go back again today.
