Just got home from spending the week in San Diego with my whole family so am tardy in posting my weekly Music Box column. Learned about the Thrills -- a group described by one fan as "the Beach Boys if they had been formed in Dublin" (gee, sound like anything I'd like?!) -- from my brothers Terence and Bill. If "One Horse Town" -- from the band's 2003 debut, "So Much for the City" -- is any indicator, I think I have a new fave group.
"Never should have settled down, hanging around in a one horse town ..."
