I thought Shane West was adorable when he was a teenager on ABC's "Once and Again." But from the looks of these photos at the "What We Do Is Secret" premiere here in Manhattan, along with costar Bijou Phillips, someone's taking his acting a little seriously. The film is a biopic about Darby Crash, the singer of the L.A. punk band The Germs, who killed himself on Nov. 7, 1980, in an attempt to seal his infamy. Yet somehow West looks 10 times scarier than Crash ever did, even at his heroin-chic lowest.
