We used to call the WeHo gym "The Sports Infection." Remember the disgusting hot tub in the men's locker room? "Old Man Soup."
The one in West Hollywood is not open 24 hours a day, because they fear it would become a horrifying sex club at 2:00 am when the bars close and drunk homos go for a "work out"... I don't blame them. ...But it irks me that they're forging ahead opening new gyms here and there while the WeHo location falls to crap. I don't think I've seen a new piece of equipment in there since 2001. ...and I never visit the sauna, steamroom or hot tub.
Jeter can't seem to figure out how to run a gym in NY.
The club has been ready for over a month, but can't open because they haven't gotten all city permissions.
NYSC was running ads in phone kiosks right outside the gym . . . and I just noticed now that Jeter didn't even bother to register the URL Jeter24.com . . . Because when you go there, the NY Sports Club website comes up!
