No Hack Job

Talk about your (gay) required reading: Mike Pingel's new book, "The Q Guide to Charlie's Angels," might just be the funnest book I've heard about in ages. Pingel, a onetime publicist and personal assistant to Farrah Fawcett-Majors who founded CharliesAngels.com and was with the original Angels during their memorable 2006 Emmy reunion, pulls out all the stops in this heavenly tribute to one of television's most enduring series ever. The book features a complete history of the show, highlighted episode breakdowns, interviews with guest stars, plus new talks with Farrah, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Tanya Roberts (the final Angel who also penned the book's foreword). I can hardly wait to feather my hair and dig in, although I have to say, what's up with this: nary a mention of Shelley Hack? As the great Tiffany Welles once said, "There's something peculiar about this situation."
